Resources I Love
As a writer, I have to admit one of my favorite research resources isn’t Dictionary.Com or even Wikipedia — it’s LiveJournal.
Why? Because you may have a question, or need to name/title something (especially something fictitious) and 9 times out of 10 you’ll get back answers. Lots of cool answers. It’s a giant, collective brain ripe for the picking.
I’m sure MySpace and Facebook are equally good, but I’ve been on LiveJournal longer. I know the crazy, zany answers I’m going to get there are good, fast, and usually right along the lines I want — and if not, it makes me rethink the question in order to GET the answer I need.

Eventually I hope to have enough talkative readers on THIS to get the same experience. So, those of you reading out there? Start piping in. I can’t hear you! 😎
