[Writer Post] The Plan for 2016

And here it is… the last Wednesday of 2015, HOW did that happen? Looking forward to the New Year. I have Grand Plans for 2016 – not that 2015 was anything to sneeze at. I mean… hey… MY FIRST SOLO NOVEL came out! That’s a Big Fat Hairy Deal.

Now I’m looking forward to what has to be done. No laurel sitting here (much). Thank goodness I got a planner for Christmas (an adorable purple PEANUTS one), so I can schedule out what I’m working on when. Because right now, I’m looking at a pile of STUFF that needs to be done and don’t really know where to start. At least there will be a plan – and you know love a good plan (especially when it comes together).

I’m starting to get the 2016 Appearance Schedule down – starting with….

A book signing at the Half Price Books Flagship in Dallas on Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 1 – 3 pm (bring your friends).

ConDFW is in February – February 12-14, 2016 at the Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre, Dallas. Their GOHs are John Scalzi and Seanan McGuire. (Bring your friends!)

SoonerCon is June 24-26, 2015 at Reed Conference Center, Midwest City, OK (OKC). Looking forward to working with David Weber, Toni Weisskopf, and Nene Thomas again. (Bring your friends!)

This is just the beginning. We’ll see where 2016 takes us. I’m continuing on my goal of “Get Stuff Done”. Time to do it – but tonight was about making cookies for the annual ORAC New Year’s Eve party.
