Publishers Come and Go…
Another project officially goes down.
I had my story, “The Tree” accepted for publication in OUR SHADOWS SOAR 2.
I knew it was coming about a month ago when I pinged the editor. He’s made it official.
The anthology is dead. Long live the anthology. The publisher he had lined up has gone radio silent for months. This story has been out of circulation for about a year. I wish the publisher and the editor luck with future endeavors.
It may be one of the unpublished stories for the “Publication Killer” project I still don’t know what to do with. “The Tree” has made a lot of rounds, but I still love it.
On the other hand…I’m now following Dystopia Press on Twitter. I will always support a new press. Especially now. They’re gearing up and haven’t gone into production yet, but new presses are to be encouraged people. We need more of them not less!
