I’m about to call my Fly Fusion pen experiment a “gone wrong”.

I’m definitely not editing content here — it’s strictly mechanical. And it’s taking a LOT more time and effort than if I wrote it long hand and typed it in since I’m having to go line by line from notebook to computer to find out what it was I actually SAID verses what the pen believes I said.

I think to make this actually work, you need to have very precise handwriting – either cursive or print – but even then, it’s a crap shoot what comes out.

I’m wondering what it would be like to use this for note taking in lectures when you’re going fast and scribbling – and heaven forbid you should make a note in the margin – who knows where that ends up.

Not quite sure I’m ready to call this experiment busted, but it’s leaning that direction. Ah, well.

Back to work now…
