No, not a money post. A… “Well, okay, then” post.

Back in February, I helped punch up a Murder Mystery Dinner script for my church (yes, I dig my church for having a sense of humor), which then led to a “We need…” thing that came through while my dad was in the hospital last month. I kinda forgot about it until yesterday.

So, this morning, in about 15 minutes, I wrote a 2 page sketch that I thought was “meh”. The guy I sent it to, who “commissioned” it, loves it. I guess that’s what matters.

But I’m constantly amazed by the things that are written fast and what I consider “bad” or “not my best effort” end up being better than I think they are. Not that I want to rely on that – EVER. Because that means something really will suck.
