This morning I mentioned what I “should” do before coming in to the “Day Job”. And I did it. I got my word count in. Just in case we took a co-worker out for lunch for her birthday. I even managed to get a little extra done on editing this morning.

Only to have said co-work not come in today. D’OH!!! Which also means I have that much more spending money this weekend! Win/Win

HOWEVER, that means I can have fun this weekend with a “clear” conscience because I’m actually “ahead” of the game. And yes, I know, had I not done the work this morning, I’d be be-moaning being behind and figuring out how to keep my commitment. As it is, I’m probably going to take a few minutes to do some note-taking on the Second Plot Bunny, now that I know where the first Plot Bunny is going – thanks to my Enabler, Meredith.

I hear the ink dipped whip in the back of my brain telling me to move forward. Hi yah!
