I meant to mention that I’m signed up to take David Farland‘s “Write that Novel!” Seminar in October here in Dallas.

Now, I’ve been about as gun shy about Workshops as I have been about Writers’ Groups and “Literary” agents, but I know artists who’ve been doing Master Classes and such that find them quite rewarding. Also, there was something “zing-y” when Farland mentioned it at SoonerCon that made me say, “Hey, I should do that.”

Knowing that if I ignore that zing-y little voice BAD THINGS happen, I’m doing it. After all, 1) it’s David Farland – reputable, personable, etc, and 2) it’s in Dallas, and 3) it’s a WHOLE Friday night and Saturday that my husband gets the house ALL TO HIMSELF. This one kinda made it’s own decision.
