Changes are Better with Jam

It’s been a busy week. There ARE, indeed, changes coming. Some things are becoming more clear. Others not.

On April 15 (yesterday as I write this), I treked out to Amber Royer’s home to re-record a couple of podcasts because of previous technical difficulties. It was awesome. We talked about former Day Job stuff and Pen Collecting and other random things. SHOCKINGLY (I know), our conversations went long. It’s going to be interesting to see how the edits come out.

Their two young sibling cats adopted me as their own and stole my powder puff. I couldn’t hang out as long as I would’ve liked – there were possiblities of WEATHER. But as a thanks for the efforts, she gave me a small jar of the Strawverry Limoncello jam she made.

I pulled an “English-ish” breakfast this morning. It was DELICIOUS – more the consistency of apple butter than a thick or chunky jam, but I LOVE THAT. It spreads easier. Not too sweet with a hint of tart. SO. GOOD.

When the podcasts go up, I’ll let everyone know – if I can figure out how to do formatting things with the blog again. I don’t have the energy AT THE MOMENT to go ask my guru for reasons. I like Kubio. I like the template, but I’m failing the learning curve unless we’re all just good with straight text with no links, bolding, italics, or any other text formatting.

I’m considering bringing back some pen talk here – maybe a “Pen of the Week” – not necessarily a REVIEW, review but a “Here’s what I’m using and why” kind of thing. More story less whatever it was before? It’s all part of the changes I’m trying to work through – some professional, some personal. Some just trying to get my body and brain all moving in a moderately foward and healthy manner. It’s not always an easy negotiation.
