[Writer Post] A Quick Drive By Post for the Holidays – A Day Late
This is going to be not only a day late – but a quick drive by post with a bit of news. Then I’ll get everyone back to their regularly scheduled holidays.
I’m pleased to announce the publication of my first Fanzine piece since my Fan Fiction days. I’m in the newest issues of Steven Silver’s Argentus fanzine – Argentus 10. He asked for mock news articles based on something out of a science fiction book. When he asked, Prince William had just announced his engagement. So my “article” is on Mile Vorkosigan’s wedding. Hence having to re-read Lois McMaster Bujold a week or two back. Go check it out. It’s available in PDF form online or you can order a print copy from Efanzines here.
Now, I have to work on the Oz-related story and Redheads stuff. To that end (that’s my story, I’m sticking to it) I indulged in a pedicure last night. Toenails are a shimmer color my awesome hairdresser, Noey, gave me called “Ruby Pumps”. I also have at least ONE new pen to play with before Christmas and PROBABLY several more COMING FOR Christmas.
New pens are always incentive to write – because you know, I actually want to USE them. 😎
