[Pen/Pencil Bonus Post] National Handwriting Day is Coming Up
Apparently National Handwriting Day is January 23. Who knew? The good folks over at Pentel USA.
They’re hosting a contest to celebrate the day (which for me is pretty much EVERY day being the pen nut I am).
They sent me the following email:
In celebration of National Handwriting Day, we’re paying homage to the art – and the heart – of the handwritten note. We’re asking you to recognize someone special with a handwritten thank you note – and we’re awarding prizes to the best ones.

Hand write a thank you note
Snap a picture of your note
Upload your image to the Pentel of America Facebook tab- http://www.facebook.com/PentelofAmerica/app_456803517688137At the end of January, Pentel® will select five of the best entries to win!
Now, I’ve thought about entering but they’ve sent me awesome stuff before so I thought I’d let someone else have a shot, especially because they also asked me to pass the word along. And if I’m promoting the contest, I don’t feel completely right about entering. If you like writing stuff (like I do) then check it out.
