[Writer Post] Promotional Wednesday

Posted by reudaly on February 6, 2013 in Books, Conventions, Writing |

I think I had something brilliant planned for this week’s writer blog post – but darned if I didn’t put that idea in a safe place somewhere in my brain…and promptly forgot where it was. Yeah… So I think this is “promotion” week…

This weekend – February 9-10, 2013 – I’ll be at SciFi Expo in the Exhibitor’s Hall in or near the Small Press Area. Check out their floor plan here to get an idea of where that is. It’s going to be cool. They have great actors in the Exhibitor’s Hall, and Steve Kimble on 103.7 Lite FM declared it to be “What’s Hot” on Tuesday…

I’ll be unleashing…uh, launching… yeah, that’s it… the final version of Isabella the Brave, my children’s short story turned coloring book with art from the talented, Angela Lowery. I had a preview version of it at the October show. This is final cover art version. This will sell for full cover of $2 – but it comes with crayons, so you have something to do in line.

The new perfect bound, color cover, reprint of The Four Redheads of the Apocalypse officially relaunches next weekend at ConDFW – February 15 – 17, but for the impatient ones, I’ll have copies at SciFi Expo. They look really good. Being perfect bound, they’re a touch more expensive – and will follow the convention pricing of $2 off perfect bound books.

If you’re not going to be at either show but want to order… Get the Redheads from Yard Dog Press. The coloring book will be $2 and $1 for shipping (if you order more than one coloring book, shipping is a $1 per book). I’ll have a PayPal link on the website at some point – or you can email me and I’ll get you the info.
