What I’m Reading#7 – Robb
While my husband was away for 9 days working at San Diego Comic Con – I admit to derailing a bit in my productivity. Of course, we’re also dealing with a very long stretch of 100 degree + weather… that does a lot to sap energy.
But what I did do while he was gone was read. I blew through 3 of the JD Robb Death novels. I’m not going to put the links here. I’ve read this series off and on. They’re Nora Roberts action/adventure with futuristic elements.
They’re fairly decent stories considering how many books Nora Roberts puts out a year. They’re nothing original — in fact, right after I read the last one, I turned on an old rerun of Burke’s Law and it was the same plot device as the novel I’d just read.
Whoa, freaky.
But they’re more story than most romance novels. And they’re great escapism.
