Honesty, Transparency, and Lack of Word Count
I did NOT make up the writing day I missed last week for being on the road.
I thought about it a lot, but I didn’t commit word count. Do I suck? No. Am I getting right back on the writing wagon? Sure am. It happens. This weekend turned out to be quite busy — and all for good reasons. And a brief, unexpected vacation was also necessary. It’s all good.
Now it’s Monday, and we’re back on track for “normalcy” – whatever that is. It’s cold, gray, and there’s a guy in Starbucks in a Captain America hoodie. What? The hood comes over like the mask. And no, the guy isn’t 12. And part of me is frightened that I recognized it in a glance.
Yeah… it’s Monday…
