[Spotlight Post] Apologies
I really did mean to do a Spotlight post on Friday. I did. I even started putting one together about Ruth Thompson – which I will finish and post…promise.
But my Day Job is trying to kill me. Ruth’s husband, Alwyn (if that really is his real name and he’s not an actor sent to perpetrate an elaborate ruse….) came in Friday night to take care of the booth and our dogs while we are in Kansas City – so there was entertaining involved.
Then the “Oh Gosh Thirty” early morning flight. Stuff didn’t get done. And I apologize. I will time manage better.
We are in Kansas City to celebrate a joint 25th Wedding Anniversary months after both anniversaries but before the 26th one rolls around. It was a surprise and it mostly worked.
Jimmy and I are going to take a detour this afternoon away from family to visit The Pen Place that we read about in Pen World Magazine, you’ll hear more about that on Monday.
And as an experiment, I am doing this on my iPad to start making it more useful than checking Facebook. 😎
